HISTORY OF THE COMPANY
TMG STONES, a family company, was created by its president, Mr. Fernando Torres and his brother Mr. Leandro Torres, in 2005, city of Vitoria. Since it was founded, the company has being growing, adding new clients and keeping a solid and long term relationship with all them. We see ourselves as a part of the companies that we work for, as we are their employees.
The training and teaching of the inspection is provided by Mr Fernando himself, which started in the sector of natural stone in 1998. He is a geologist by training, graduated from the University of Sao Paulo. His first job on the granite sector was inspecting blocks for the Chinese market, at the time the exportation of blocks to Asia was starting and growing fast. In addition to inspecting and training the other inspectors, Mr. Fernando was responsible for searching for quarries on the field and managing quarries in Bahia and Minas Gerais states.
In 2005, Mr Fernando together with his brother started their own company, TMG STONES, providing inspection and consulting services for North America distributors of slabs and for Asia blocks distributors and project companies, mainly in China and Taiwan.
Today the company has a team of 3 inspectors, including Mr Fernando Torres and Mr Leandro Torres. We can operate in any state of Brazil, however, the main suppliers are located in Espírito Santo State.
